Enquiring

Please email estelletattoos @ gmail . com with:

-A brief of what your concept for the tattoo is.

-supporting reference images

-placement on the body and a rough size in cm.

-A photo of the area to be tattooed is helpful too, so I can understand the flow of your body.

Once I have your email, I can give you a quote for the time and cost of your tattoo. From there, we can move on to finding a date for your appointment.

If the tattoo you would like is not suitable or best done by me, I will refer you to my colleagues or other local artists whom I believe will give you the best tattoo.

note: with the backlog of COVID-19 lockdown enquiries I have a two month wait on replies that I’m working my hardest to sort through.

Drawing process

I draw all tattoo designs over my weekend before your appointment, so any last minute changes or supporting reference images are needed the Saturday evening before your appointment date.

Although I draw the designs ahead of time, I don’t send through the design before the appointment. I usually do however, post sneak peeks of what I’m working on, on my IG story.

If there are any changes you would like to make to the design that is absolutely fine, but is best done when we are together on the day of the appointment.

With the volume of clients and drawing I have, this is the most time effective way of preparing designs.

Before your tattoo

Personally, I have a good sleep before my appointment and don’t work out the morning before to reserve energy for the session. A sumptuous healthy meal before the tattoo gives me the energy I need to sit my best.

Do not moisturise the area we will be tattooing the day of your appointment, this will cause the stencil to not stick well for the duration of the tattoo.

It is best if the area is exfoliated three days before the appointment to remove any dead skin and purify the skin.

Please don’t fake tan within a week before the tattoo, but if you have residual tan I will do my best to remove it.

During the tattoo

For full day sessions, I normally have a half hour lunch break for us both to eat. There are close by cafes, or some clients prefer to bring their lunch with them to avoid waiting for food.

Feel free to bring along headphones and listen to your own music.

Breath is everything, so above all, breathe deep and I will do the rest!

After the tattoo

Take the wrap I place on the tattoo off within three hours, wash with warm soapy water and rinse any residual soap off your new tattoo. Pat it dry with a clean towel and leave the tattoo for 24 hours without applying cream (washing/showering in this time is absolutely fine.)

After this period, ensure that you wash the tattoo morning and afternoon (can be done while showering) with soapy water. Pat dry, and allow the tattoo to air dry for twenty minutes before applying paw paw (I use the red Lucas brand specifically) lightly to the area.

No fake tanning or swimming, regardless of water type for two weeks.

If you have any questions at all regarding healing, feel free to call the shop.
